Blindsight may not be able to see due to incorrect set up, damaged or disconnected hardware, or blocked vision.

Set up

  • The sensor(s) are looking at the wrong region.

  • The sensor(s) are blocked by objects, such as vehicle arms or walls.

  • No object categories have been selected and Blindsight ignores all objects.

  • No alerts have been configured.

  • An alert zone has been applied to the sensors field of view.

Hardware

  • If the system is not operating, due to a hardware failure, disconnected sensor, or broken cable, the BPU and in-cab alert status lights will turn red.

Blocked vision

  • If the system is operating but cannot see due to dirt on a sensor or insufficient light, the BPU and in-cab alert status lights will turn orange.
