Does Blindsight record people and how is that stored?

The Blindsight processing unit (BPU) stores an encrypted rolling log of video from each sensor when turned on.

A detection of any selected object, such as a person, creates a flag and a 5 second alert preview of the detection is pushed to the Blindsight cloud, along with relevant metadata, when 3/4G is available. This is available on the Blindsight web app, where an authorised user can request the video.

The 40 second detection video - 10 seconds before the event, 20 seconds of the event, and 10 seconds after the event – is sent from the BPU only on request and is encrypted. The requested video is then stored in the cloud. The rolling log on the BPU is eventually overwritten (roughly 7 working days) and the videos can no longer be requested.
