To shutdown a BPU, first remove power. This initiates the normal shutdown operation which takes approximately 4 minutes.

For the first minute the BPU is operating normally i.e. the detection pipeline will continue to detect objects. This is then followed by 3 minutes when the BPU is in low power mode and no object detection is running.

For fast shutdown, remove power and then hold the Status button until you see a single flash and then release. This occurs around 15 seconds and indicates the BPU is ready for shutdown.

If the Status button is not released and held in for 30 seconds the BPU will initiate the restart sequence.
