Step 1: Rename your phone to "Blindsight" (capitalisation matters, make sure to use a capital B)

To do this on an iPhone go to:

Settings > General > About > Name, and then type "Blindsight" as the new name and save.

Step 2: Change your hotspot password to "Blindsight"

Settings > Personal Hotspot > WiFi Password, and then type "Blindsight" as the new password and save.

Step 3: Toggle on "Maximise Compatibility"

Step 4: Place your phone directly on top of the BPU and toggle "allow others to join" on to allow the BPU to share a data connection with your phone.

Step 5: Power up the BPU.

After the BPU has booted, the BPU status light should turn green, the BPU will appear 'Online' in the web portal, and the green hotspot icon will appear on your phone.

If it doesn't work straight away, try turning the "Allow others to join" toggle on and off while the phone is directly on top of the BPU. If that doesn't work, power cycle the BPU - make sure the leave you phone on the BPU with personal hotspot enabled as the BPU reboots.

Here's a video of the process
