Blindsight can appear offline for a number of reasons, the most common reasons are:

  • Blindsight does not have 4G and cannot connect to the cloud

  • Blindsight has been uninstalled, or the machine is not in use

  • Power issues

Troubleshooting step 1

Check all connections - are they tight, and in the right place?

Troubleshooting step 2

Check cables for damage - visually inspect power cabling, the BPU harness, and vehicle wiring.

Troubleshooting step 3

Check fuses.

Troubleshooting step 4

Confirm that there is 12-24v being received from the vehicle when the ignition is turned on.

Troubleshooting step 5

Confirm that there is 12-24v being received through the Blindsight harness to confirm there isn't an issue with the harness itself.

Troubleshooting step 6

Confirm that Blindsight has a 4G connection. You will see a slow flashing green light if there is no data connection.

-Check antenna for damage and that the connections are tight.

-Ensure sim card is active.
​-Try and hotspot a connection and contact Presien support.
