Camera darkness troubleshooting guide

If Blindsight is operating but cannot see due insufficient light or mud on the sensor, the in-cab alert status light will turn yellow to notify the operator, and a camera darkness event will be logged.

Machine's operating at night, or underground in low light areas will likely generate camera darkness events.

Troubleshooting step 1

Check for mud, dirt or anything that would block the camera's vision.

Go to Manage > Devices > Open the device > Configuration > Alert Zones

Toggle through each sensor to confirm there is nothing obstructing the cameras vision.

Troubleshooting step 2

Confirm what time the camera darkness event was logged, and if there would have been sufficient lighting at that time.
